Day 1:

Arrival at Hogeveen train station. First we pick up Konstantina and Camilla. She was a little bit shy and really small. When we came home I showed them my house. Later that night came Marta. And we all eat fries with frikandellen they really liked that. 

 

Day 2:

 I really want to go to school by bike but the bikes wear to big for the girls. When we got to school there was an introduction. With a Quiz about the groups. We showed our group the school. They were very impressed. at 12.30 there was lunch at school. And around 1.00 p.m. we went to the center Hoogeveen. The groups where split because we had to do a picture search al in the center. And the other were visiting the mill. The picture search was fun but the mill was really boring. He only told allot of history. Around 4.00 p.m. we made a photo in front of the townhall in our t-shirts and that picture came in the newspaper. It was in the beginning a little awkward but because we where with four girls that wasn’t for long. In the evening we did bowling and we laugh allot. I slept really late because everybody needs to take a shower in the evening so that took really long.

 

Day 3:

 We had breakfast at 7.15. they didn’t eat allot of bread. The arrive at school was 8.55 a.m.

-in the morning we worked on the project. There weren’t any problems in my group. There where other groups where some people did nothing. That wasn’t the case with us. and the students follow a lesson in our school. My group was visiting math. The school teachers from Greece and Italy came with us they really liked it. The students didn’t really know what the do. So it was a bit strange.

at 12.50 p.m. there was lunch.  At 1.15 visit to Kamp westerbork by bus. We first watched a movie. After the movie we went inside the museum and we just walked a little bit around in the museum. After the museum we went to a monument it was a very long walk so we took the buss. The was a train where the people in transported to. We walked a bit further and there was a big monument for a the people that died there. It was really impressive.

We walked all the way back there was the buss and we went back to the school. In the evening there was a winter BBQ at my house. The Greek teachers came to eat. And anna and her girls. Later came joran and danny with them exchange students because they were in the neighborhood. It was very nice and everybody liked it. The Greek teacher sit the whole time at the same place there English was really bad but they were very nice and they really enjoyed the evening. I went very late to bed because everybody need to took a shower and also me.

 

Day 4:

The morning was the same as yesterday we hat breakfast at 7.15.  we hat to Arrive at school 8.55 a.m. In the morning we worked on the project. The collaboration went very well. At 11.45 a.m. there was lunch. With a buss we went to Emmen for the zoo. In the zoo we walked around with a group of people. The was a program what we could follow but we just walked allot around a have allot fun. There was a roller-coaster we went the like 100 times in. because there was nobody else the people that worked said that we could sit still the whole time. We went back with the buss. Almost everybody went out that night and my girls also wanted to go out. So in the evening we went to the city. They also tasted a oliebol, and they liked it. After that anna and her girls went to my house and we played some games.

 

 

 

 

Day 5:

The morning was the same. Arrive at school was 8.55 a.m.

Everybody was preparing their pitches. I was really nervous for the presentation. The Pitches was for the whole group students and teachers. It went really well. Everybody of our group knew wat they hat to tell. At 12.30 there was lunch. At 12.45 p.m. we went with the buss to the swimming pool bonte wever. I really liked it it was really fun. The Spain student and Dutch student were mixed and they were really fun. In the evening we went to the city we walked around. I slept really late because everybody needs to take a shower and that takes like a hour for 1 girl.

 

Day 6:

We hat to wake up really early. Because we went to Amsterdam. We went to Amsterdam by buss. At 10.00 a.m. visiting to nemo. That’s a science museum. It was really fun you could do there really much. We walked there around with the Spain students. When we were done we went on a boat trip through the canals. It the beginning I liked it but it took really long. After the tour we hat free time till 4 p.m. I walked around Amsterdam with dewi and anna. We didn’t do allot just some shopping and eating. We hat some big fries at manneke pis that were the best fries I ever had.  At 6.15 p.m. arrive in Hogeveen. Around 7.30 p.m. there was a goodbye party until 10 p.m. it was really fun ever family prepared some food for the party.

 

 

Day 7:

We didn’t have to wake up early so we had all the time. The we brought them to the train station. Everybody as crying I made allot of friends it was a great experience.

The project we made:

 The first project: everybody is going to search for information about a interesting touristic subject.

My group did it about kabouterwoud zuidwolde. I never bin there so it was a little bit hard. But we did it.

 

The second project: we are going to create your own touristic attraction. Something we missing in our province. We made a ice-skating hall. Because we really like to go ie-skating and it never freezes to hard.
