Monday, October 14 

We met at the station at about 8 a.m, there we had half an hour to say goodbye and then it was time to leave. When we were on the train we had to switch trains 1 time and after a little more than 2 hours we arrived at the airport. We had to check in there and go through customs, that went really quick. Then we walked to the gate to see where it was and to walk around for ourselves, that was no longer possible because we could already board. We had to wait fifteen minutes and then we were allowed to board the plane. When we were seated, we immediately left. When we arrived in Athens 3 hours later we had to get our bags and went to the bus that took us to Aliveri. When we arrived around half past six we went home with our hosts. After we had put my things away we went to the store to get some food. When we were back afterwards I went to unpack my things and I sat down on the couch. A little later we went to pick up a Spanish boy. When we came back we eat some dinner, we ate meat with chips and a salad. Then we went to sleep. 

 

Tuesday, October 15 

We woke up around a quarter past seven, we got ready for school and went to have breakfast. I ate cornflakes. At a little over 8 we walked to the bus stop and we drove to school. When we arrived at school we walked to a room and were welcomed. They started telling about the week and what we were going to do. One hour later we had a break. After the break we went to do a workshop, our group had dancing. A while later we were ready and we went to the rest for half an hour. When we had cleaned up, we went outside to take a photo and we had lunch. An hour later we walked to the bus and went to a store where women baked a lot of things. There they showed how they made some of it and afterwards we could to taste it. Then we walked across the street to have a look in a church. A little later we walked towards the bus again. When we arrived in Aliveri again a few others walked with us to our home, because they were going out later that evening . When we returned home I put my things away and I sat down with the rest in the living room. Fifteen minutes later I sat down in my room to put my phone on the charger, someone else came to sit and then we talked for a while. A little later they came to get us for dinner. They had made spaghetti which was already cold when we ate it. After dinner everyone went out, I stayed home because I didn’t want to go and I wanted to rest. I watched netflix for a while and entertained myself. When they came back around 1 o'clock we went to sleep.  

 

Wednesday, October 16 

We woke up at 7, ate some breakfast and got ready. Around 8 o'clock we walked towards the bus and a little later we went towards a museum. When we were at the museum we had to wait outside and we made 2 groups. Then we were allowed inside where all the information was told about the things that were inside. When we were done around 10 am  we walked to the bus and were given some bread with mayonaise and chips on it. When we were in the bus, we drove to Steni to go for a walk. Because the guide had canceled we went down a river with a group. I walked with a few others and a little later we lost the rest. A bit further we thought we had gone too far, so we spent 10 minutes figuring out where we were. We turned out to have to do a whole lot. When we finally arrived at the end of the river we had to climb steeply which took a while. When we arrived at the terrace we waited fifteen minutes for the rest and then we could go to the restaurant by bus. We arrived a few minutes later at the restaurant where we were going to eat. After we had dinner we sat outside for a while and then we drove to the home of knowledge and science. There was told about the phenomenon that the water rises every so often. After the presentation we walked  towards a bridge a few minutes away. We agreed on a few things there and then we were allowed to walk around ourselves. At 6 o'clock we had to go back to the bus and then we drove back to the house. When we came back I went back to my room to unpack my bag and to charge my phone. Because I was still full of lunch, I had not eaten anything in the evening. Everyone went out around 9 and I stayed home again. I watched series all night again and when they came back around midnight we went to sleep. Because the host's brother was not there that night, she slept in her own room and I also had my own room. 

 

 

 

Thursday, October 17  

We woke up again at 7 and got ready for school. We had to start this day at the school so we had to go to school in the school bus. When we arrived at school, we sat in our groups and started to make a presentation. We had 2 hours to create and present it. Because there was no more time to present it, we didn't have to do that anymore. When we were done with making the presentations it was time to take the bus to Zarganis farm. When we got there by bus, we had to go up a hill and she explained some things and showed us around. An hour later food arrived. They had ordered souvlaki. When that was finished we left again because we went to Kymis three fig factory. We drove for a while and we also drove wrong. When we drove back to the factory, the driver hit a car. When we arrived we walked in, showed them how to pack everything and half an hour to an hour later we drove back to the house. When we got back I took a shower and sat down in my room again to unpack my bag. Everyone went out again and I stayed home again. I had been on my phone again for a while and then I wanted to go to sleep. When I had just turned everything off and lay down, they came back and we went to sleep. 

 

 

 

Friday, October 18  

 

We woke up around 6 because we had to leave early. When we were done we had to wait a while. When we were on the bus we could go a few minutes later. After a little more than 2 hours we arrived and bread was again shared. Nobody accepted it, which made the teacher angry because it cost quite a bit of money. Then we walked to the Acropolis museum. Inside we had to put our bags away and we went into the museum. A lot of information was told about all the images and when we were finished an hour later we went to the acropolis. We had to walk upstairs there. When we were upstairs we were told when and how it was built and then we were allowed to walk around ourselves. At 2 o'clock we were allowed to go down and walk around Athens ourselves. We went to some stores there and looked around a bit. We then walked to the starbucks and into a supermarket to buy some more things. Then it was time to go back and while we walked back we also went to a souvenir shop where I bought some things. When we were back we had to wait a few minutes for the rest and then we drove back to Aliveri. We arrived just before 8 at an ice cream parlor where we got an ice cream and when we were there we drove on. At 8 o'clock we arrived in Aliveri and walked back to the house. I took a shower there and then I went to sleep. 

 

Saturday, October 19. 

We woke up around 8 and started to prepare ourselves. When we were completely ready around 9 o'clock we walked to the bus. When we arrived at the bus we were told that we no longer went to the horse club but that we went to the beach. Along the way we picked up the rest who were waiting for the bus. When we arrived at the beach we first went through some shops and then sat on a terrace. After that we went to wait on a bench until we were allowed to leave. Around 1 o'clock we left again by bus and went to a restaurant for something to eat. Then we walked to the beach where we would also have the party in the evening. We sat there for a few hours and then we walked back home to get ready for the party. When we came back after half an hour of walking, I went to rest and get ready. I was forced to take a shower but I didn't because I showered yesterday. When we went to the party around half past six, we had 8 people in the car, which almost didn't fit. When we arrived and everyone was there we were allowed to eat. We walked and talked a lot after dinner and then we had cake. Then we went with everyone to a store where they bought drinks and then we went somewhere else on the beach. After an hour we were picked up again and we went home. I went home to pack my things and went to sleep.  

 

Sunday, October 20 

I woke up at 9 and went to pack my bag. When I finished that I went to eat something. At a little before 11 we went to the bus and said goodbye to each other. When we were on the bus we drove 2 hours to the airport. When we were there we went to the toilet and checked our suitcases. Then we walked to customs and headed for our gate. We had to sit there for a while and we walked around for a little. About 2 hours later we were allowed to board. We were told that we had to sit within 5 minutes to leave on time. We had succeeded so we were back in time in the Netherlands. When we were back we went to our suitcases and walked towards the train. We had to wait another hour, so we went to the Starbucks to get some drinks. Then we went back quickly and we could get on the train. When we came home 2 hours later, I unpacked my suitcase and went to bed.
